Willowglen Systems is an innovative company involved in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA). We design both the software and hardware for industrial computer systems. Willowglen is involved in a large number of industries including oil and gas pipelines, water distribution, electricity distribution, and transportation systems such as the SkyTrain in Vancouver. In addition to systems in North America, Willowglen has successfully completed projects throughout the world in such places as Korea, Singapore, England, and Croatia.
Willowglen is looking to add multiple software developers to our Software Department. We are interested in both entry-level and experienced candidates. The positions offer a wide range of challenges because of the diverse set of software and hardware that Willowglen develops. Hardware platforms include embedded systems, desktop PCs and servers. Software development is done with Solaris, Linux and the Microsoft Windows operating systems. Knowledge of C++, web tools such as JavaScript and PHP, relational databases, embedded software or communication protocols is an asset. There is an opportunity to do some local and international traveling as part of the position.
